AECOM Tactical Data Links (TDL) Coordinator in Yuma, Arizona

Purpose and Scope:
To facilitate coordination between the Military/Government customers and the South West Tactical Training Range (SWTTR) Joint Interface Control Cell (JICC). The TDL Coordinator will work closely with SPAWARSYSCOM and USMC Network Design Facility (NDF) for relevant TDL issues. Ensures the TDL system and equipment is compliance with current MIL-STD.
Reports directly to SWTTR TDL Control Representative for assigned tasks, projects, report analysis and will coordinate with outside entities as required for interoperability.
Supports equipment relocation to include cost analysis, optimization studies, engineering studies, integration and installation in support of TDL requirements. Works with engineering and IT/IA department for capability improvements and with configuration management to maintain and document TDL baselines.
Provides TDL equipment operation, training, troubleshooting and management support for all agencies participating in, or supporting, SWTTR TDL training operations. Trains applicable civilian and military personnel in the operation of SWTTR TDL equipment. Coordinates TDL settings with operation participants and the operation of TDL cryptographic equipment.
Coordinates with external TDL communities and other training and testing ranges to ensure the SWTTR TDL infrastructure is compatible with, and capitalizes on, the existing DoD TDL infrastructure. Recommends appropriate modifications and upgrades to Tactical Data Link Control Rep.
Accomplishes assigned tasks independently in accordance with overall project objectives and requirements. Coordinates with internal departments as required.
Responsible for the operational status and maintenance of all associated TDL computer information services. Capable of maintaining and repairing PC workstations and laptop computers. Performs software maintenance, upgrades, and installation of new applications, debugging, and checkout. Assists with automating report generation.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
Associate of Science or equivalent in IT related subject
Minimum Experience Required:
Military experience in Tactical Data Links (Link-16, JREAP Connections, LVT/STT Operation)
Training/experience with Windows 10 and RHEL 6
Training/experience with IP networking

This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position (Specialty Code 45-System Administration-Intermediate/Journeyman) and as a condition of employment, incumbents of the position are required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, which include:
Earn and maintain appropriate credentials from the Cyber IT/CSWF Qualification Matrix (described in SECNAV M-5239.2) associated with the specialty area and level commensurate with the scope of major assigned duties for the position to which you are assigned.
Participate in a continuous learning program as described in SECNAVINST1543.2. A minimum of 40 hours of Cyber IT/CSWF related continuous learning annually documented in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor.

Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
Possess a valid state Driver's license
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must possess and maintain an active DoD security clearance
Joint Range Extension (JRE) Operator Certification
USJFCOMIT-102 (MAJIC) Certification
USJFCOMIT-201 Link 16 Joint Planners Course Certification
Experience in reading, understanding, and following OPTASK LINK documentation
