Job Description

  • Create software for vehicle level functions and perform integration and verification testing with minimal direction of lead engineers.

  • Analyze software defects; figure out root cause, create software solution, test and verify closure.

  • Performs design and analysis on changes.

  • Diagnose, debug and solve issues related to vehicle hardware and software.

  • Work with teams from multiple groups to meet project milestones

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

In this role, we will rely on you to work on complex integrations in the areas of GPS corrections, OTA, MapOTA, Data collection, Vehicle integration with a large degree of autonomy. Take every advantage of the opportunity to utilize your outstanding understanding of End-To-End flow of Data in support of Vehicle achievements bringing a next level of success to our group. You will have every opportunity to collaborate and partner with various cross-functional teams to ensure that the integration is working at optimum levels. Become an integral part in the automation of the build/deploy/environment setup processes. Don't worry, you've got this! You'll also be initiating the use of new technologies and evaluate new products by doing POC's. Some additional responsibilities include:

  • Development of applications in Java/J2EE/Python/Spring boot/PCF/Unix/Power BI/Cassandra/Kafka/Hadoop

  • Establish a course of action take every measure ensuring systems are balanced and the environments are stable for smooth functioning of the development programs

  • Willingness to be on call on need basis

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or applicable field of study

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in application development using Java/J2EE Oracle/Linux/Virtualization and Big data

  • Experience in working with COTS products

  • Strong Knowledge of shell scripting and various scripting languages (ANT, WLST, Python etc.)

  • Expert level knowledge of systems integration and high availability Architectures

  • Solid knowledge in Enterprise Traffic management, DNS to SSL to TLS impacts

  • Expertise in Enterprise distributed application solutions

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills working optimally with cross-functional personnel

  • Flexible in timing and able to work in a competitive and fast paced environment
