Community Health Systems Vascular Technologist - Radiology Specialist - Northwest - FT - Days in TUCSON, Arizona

Description

Vascular Technologist - Radiology Specialist. This position is a FT- day shift- to join our team at Northwest Medical Center. Our focus is on high quality patient care through patient assessment, critical thinking skills, time management and teamwork.

Performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. May perform therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a physician or manager.

Education

  • Associates or better in Radiography

Licenses & Certifications

Required

  • C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac

Experience

Preferred

  • At least 1 year vascular scanning experience preferred.
