Responsible for the development and presentation of training for the Direct Sales team to meet sales goals. Researches inside sales best practices and develops training curriculum for face-to-face, virtual and other training for both Infinity products as well as our outside brokerage agreements. Also be responsible for licensing preparation training as well as Continued Education of employees on the team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Researches, develops and conducts classroom and virtual training for Sales Agents. :

  • Responsible for contacting students prior to training and setting expectations for success.

  • Recommends, develops and maintains a virtual training library for the team.

  • Mentors and continues training to enhance sales skills including monitoring of phone calls, shadowing, floor monitoring and walk-throughs and provides feedback to employees and management and assists as needed.

  • Determines training needs of employees through review of productivity, feedback from Sales Manager and Supervisors, and/or side by side observation (shadowing) and provides feedback to management on all training activities.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. One or more years of experience as a Trainer including development and delivery of training required.

  • Property and Casualty agent license required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer to position. Possession of a valid resident Life Insurance license is preferred.

  • Previous experience with MS office products including Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Must have experience with or be able to learn additional software programs relevant to direct sales including comparative raters, CRM and other Company specific rating programs. Must be familiar with web training programs like GoToMeeting or Adobe Connect and able to conduct/facilitate virtual training classes.

  • Must be have excellent Spanish/English verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects amidst changing priorities and interruptions and be detail oriented, accurate and have the ability to work independently following strict guidelines.

  • Has access to and must maintain confidentiality of information about employees.
