Raytheon Technologies Special Access Program - Industrial Security Lead in Tucson, Arizona
Security - Special Access Program (SAP) Security personnel interface with customers and the government on security requirements for proprietary programs as well as providing guidance and support to employees working on such activities, helping them stay abreast of changes and updates in requirements.
The Team Leader II or Manager I, Industrial Security will support the Product Line Security Manager (PLSM) and programmatic cross-functional leadership in direct support of National Security and contractual requirements based on the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 series, and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG).
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Applicants may be considered for the Team Leader II Industrial Security (G08) or a Manager I Industrial Security (G09) position based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and position responsibilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the oversight and implementation of contractual security requirements for engineering development labs and multifunction test facilities utilizing the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 series, the ICD-705, and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG).
Manage a small team of security professionals to include scheduling, coaching, training and evaluating performance.
Partner with personnel across functional organizations in support of business objectives, while ensuring compliance with US Government and Raytheon Company directives and policies.
Develop and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes and procedures to ensure continually high compliance levels and efficient operations.
Perform annual self-inspections, evaluate findings, and direct the implementation and re-evaluation of the corrective action(s).
Provide security support during Government inspections.
Investigate security infractions/violations, prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise, and provide associated corrective actions.
Collaborate with and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of JSIG requirements and approved sanitization procedures for hardware and test equipment.
Inspect, prepare for accreditation, and maintain secure facilities in accordance with (IAW) ICD 705 standards.
Evaluates resource needs to develop proposals.
This position may involve travel on company business
A valid driver’s license is needed as this position may involve escorting individuals across business locations
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years directly related experience in lieu of degree PLUS the following:
Team Leader II Industrial Security – minimum of 4 years of directly related experience (12 years without a Bachelor’s degree)
Manager I Industrial Security – minimum of 6 years of directly related experience (14 years without a Bachelor’s degree)
Experience in a manager role or leading a team.
Experience supporting SAP and/or SCI Programs.
Active Top Secret security clearance - (Please note the current, final Top Secret clearance must have an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment -confirmed prior to interview)
Prior experience with any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and/or ICD 705.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Desired Experience, Skills, and Education
Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
At least 6 years of National Security experience preferred.
Effective at tracking multiple projects until completion, and keeping large amounts of documentation organized
Ability to collaborate with and support personnel from a variety of functional organizations
Related training with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
This position requires the successful issuance, transfer or maintenance of a security Clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
