Community Health Systems Nurse Tech - System Pre-Admission Testing Department - Full Time in TUCSON, Arizona
Full Time position, shifts Mon-Fri ( no weekend or holiday shifts)
Be a part of creating something new as we build our System Preadmission department servicing surgical and procedural patients providing superior customer service. This position will require self-motivation, strong communication skills and critical thinking .
The Nurse Tech in the Pre-Admission Testing department assists nursing service personnel with a variety of clerical duties for the surgical patient, I.E. calling offices for test results, organization, frequent communication via phone. Ordering and stocking of forms and supplies, maintain department supplies and equipment, to include maintenance and repair services.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, Post High School vocational / specialized training preferred.
One (1) year experience in hospital preferred.
Preferred candidate will have prior experience working in a hospital setting. Prior surgical services experience highly preferred.
Strong customer service, organizational and phone skills required.
Licenses / Certifications :
Required: "BLS certification" American Heart Association
