Pay Range $19 - $21 hourly, Depending on experience.

The Human Resources team is responsible for evolving our culture of Care and guiding our Behaviors to Build: Empathy, Prioritizing Wellbeing, Practice Inclusion and Experiment. We are a business partner expected to collaborate with Operations so that we as a hotel achieve our business goals.
Job duties may include payroll administration, benefits reconciliation, safety awareness & compliance, data entry/data integrity and data analytics. This role will also assist with maintaining colleague files, facilitating recognition events/processes, hiring/onboarding new colleagues. The position responsibilities require HR generalist knowledge and fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Applications, HR Information Systems, and the ability to remain adaptable as managing multiple tasks at once is a regular expectation of the role.
This highly visible role assists in the planning of the HR function and is heavily involved in executing HR initiatives. This position will also ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and will support our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.

Bilingual Spanish/English (refined verbal and written communication skills in both ENG/SPN)
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or HR Certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years HR experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher)
Familiar with payroll systems and HR information systems and Taleo
Strong detail, organization and analytical skills
Strong problem-solving and creative/critical thinking skills
Working knowledge of HR policies and laws. Familiarity with the latest HR trends
Interpersonal skills and genuine customer service orientation. Must have a positive demeanor with energy, drive, and persistence to achieve goals
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Solid professional presentation skills. Must have ability to deliver messages clearly and effectively both verbally and written
History of building relationships, gaining credibility, influencing, and collaborating with others
