n

The Pima Community College Facilities department is interested in recruiting an engaged self-starter to be a part of our dynamic Business and Property Control office.

n

The Fiscal Analyst is responsible for performing professional level duties including and not limited to financial budgets, purchasing, accounts payable, grants and payroll analysis and property control. The position responsibility for performing professional level reconciling, analysis and reporting duties requiring application of advanced accounting principles and practices, project management principles, and principles and practices of grants and contracts.

n

The incumbent monitors, analyzes and reconciles internal and external information from multiple sources, determining impact on departmental and college-wide operations and reports. Prepares complex financial reports, reviews proposed expenditures for compliance and funding availability, processes complex journal entries, audits capital valuations, reconciles auction proceeds, and assists in problem solving for the College's FAMIS system.

nDuties and nResponsibilities

n

n

n

+ Analyzing Facilities and College Police financial activities, identifying and researching discrepancies.

n

+ Interpreting regulations and policies, and formulating and executing recommendations based on findings.

n

+ Work with designated Davis-Bacon personnel to ensure accurate recording and reporting of grant-related activities

n

+ Preparing complex Project Report for Facilities projects and deferred maintenance projects.

n

+ Preparing and executing complex journal entries for chargebacks in multiple areas.

n

+ Establish, monitor, evaluate, and improve processes, procedures and/or standards, ensuring alignment with the College mission, values, goals, objectives, initiatives and local, state and Federal laws and regulations.

n

+ Assist with analyzing and documenting existing processes for financial expenditures (PCard, requisitions, purchasing). Assist with identifying problems and formulating solutions via input/output requirements.

n

+ Assist Property Control with inventory and information updates, process development and improvement, and manual and automated entry in College ERP systems.

n

+ Participate in the capital and annual budget development process.

n

+ Serves as the Facilities Business Services representative on committees, task forces, work groups and in meetings to support College strategic plan Initiatives, goals and objectives. Assist in planning, scheduling, developing and presenting training programs.

n

+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field and

+ One year previous finance experience or


n

n

+ Candidates who possess similar minimum objective qualifications should describe in detail the education and work experience you regard as establishing the equivalency.
