Raytheon Technologies Financial Analyst II in Tucson, Arizona
Come join the Raytheon team in El Segundo (Work from Home encouraged during COVID-19!) for an exciting opportunity to support the financial responsibilities of an exciting Resilient Navigation Reconnaissance Systems (RNRS) Product Line! This team member will be responsible for developing quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) which will require you to partner with other functional leads and perform analysis providing informed business decisions. This program will be required to report earned value and ensure that the program execution stays on schedule and within budget.
This position will assist the finance manager and help drive completion of the Earned Value deliverables each month.
You will be responsible for preparing various analyses to ensure accurate reporting and early warning of issues.
Analyses include risks and opportunities, and variances to plan and forecast.
Other responsibilities include consolidating financial data for various reviews including the monthly Program Management Review (PMR), weekly Short Range Outlook (SRO) for financial forecasts, weekly/monthly customer meetings and various levels of internal leadership meetings. You will also be responsible for continuing to identify ways to improve processes and further levels of efficiency.
You will have the opportunity to Baseline a new effort with the support of the Modernized finance manager. In addition to supporting the above program activities, you will assist the RNRS product area with monthly forecasting, AOP and 5 Year Planning activities.
Also, you will engage with the RNRS FP&A lead to update Raytheon’s excel-based Forecast System, monthly balance sheet, and ad hoc support in the consolidation and reporting of the financial metrics for RNRS.
This RNRS finance position provides an excellent opportunity for someone to continue to develop their Earned Value analysis skillset including reporting and participation in routine Earned Value reviews. This position also allows someone to continue to develop their FP&A skills at a business level.
The team member is required to work Pacific Standard Time hours.
Minimum 2 years of relevant Finance work experience
Experience in providing financial and business support
Excellent desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and independently create and accurately analyze cost data
Great organizational skills in leading/coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal communication
Working knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse and PRISM
Experienced with financial systems including PMX, Winsight, and ETC Tool
Experience with new contract set-up and baselining
Financial Planning & Analysis experience
Shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis
Experience in preparing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Engineering, etc.) in program financial planning and analysis
Bachelor's Business/Finance/Accounting or related discipline
