Leadership is the key to success with this position. You will report to the Facilities Director and be responsibilities to lead a team of skilled professionals in any of the areas within the department. Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC; Memberships/Building Trades/Electronics; Hotel/Public Buildings/On-Call Staff; or Critical Eye/CMMS/Capital Projects. You will be responsible for the oversight of proper repair & maintenance of all areas and equipment within their assigned section; also for scheduling, coaching, training, counseling, and reviewing all staff under their Supervision. Oversight of outside contractors doing work on CR property. You, along with the other Facilities Assistant Managers will have regular and effective communication with facilities director and property management team. Participates in departmental meetings ensuring that information is effectively ‘passed along’ to appropriate departments providing smooth operation of department and facility. You will manage operations for areas assigned within the department. Plan and organize work flow for staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of all projects. Establish and maintain position critical standards and procedures and efficiency standards. Manages department level programs including production checklists, financial controls.
Safety is our number one priority. You will ensure a safe environment for staff and guests; conduct regular training, develop, implement and ensure standards for key control and safety related topics are maintained. You will conducts training on personal protective equipment, Hazmat and proper equipment handling, ensures proper documentation of any work related injury is submitted in a timely manner.
5 years' experience in related field, such as Hospitality or Construction. Prefer 2 - 3 years' management experience in trades with supervision of 5 or more team members.
Must obtain a Pima County Pool Operator Certificate within 90 days of employment.
Demonstrated proficiency working with Engineering maintenance systems. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Proficient skills in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
