These are state of the art, electronically controlled firearm assemblies that support advanced simulator training of military and law enforcement agencies.Essential Functions: Perform a variety of technical functions related to prototype and production activities: operation, assembly, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment Demonstrated excellence in electrical Circuit board assembly and repair skills; including surface mount soldering experience and PCB component soldering skills** Candidate will be required to demonstrate ability to solder using quality soldering techniques. Demonstrated superior dexterity and hand/eye coordination required of working under a microscope Read and follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings for the assembly of electromechanical units at the PCA and product level Read and follow test procedures at the PCA and product level Test electronic units using standard and specialized test equipment: volt/ohm meters, basic digital scopes, etc. Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with mechanical hand tools including wrenches, screw drives, pliers, drills, Dremel tools, grinding wheels, etc.) is required Performs other duties as assigned. Requires ability to work on items repetitively.Education and Experience: 5 years previous experience in electrical assembly High school diploma of GED, technical school graduate a plus Hand solder of electronic PCB componentsAdditional Requirements: Flexible work-start times (6:00am -9:00am) Full time position consisting of 40+ hours per week and may require long hours and weekend work due to production, rework or customer deadlines.
