Aerotek Clinical Lab Technician in Tempe, Arizona
Entry Level Clinical Lab Technician role.
Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.
Assures quality customer service to all customers.
Maintains accurate records and documentation. Ensures maintenance of donor, patient and employee confidentiality.
Performs preparation and prequalification of reagents and routine testing of biological samples.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment and identifies equipment malfunctions and notifies appropriate personnel.
Performs equipment calibration
Assists with monitoring supply and reagent levels and notifies appropriate personnel when new supplies are needed.
Maintains the cleanliness of equipment and work areas. Adheres to safety guidelines.
Assists process improvement teams, as required.
Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
The minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in one of the Sciences. We do not require any work experience for this position; just the BS degree that meets CLIA requirements:
• For the CLIA High-Complexity Requirement:
o 24 semester hours of Science Classes
6 hours of chemistry
6 hours of biology
12 hours of any other chemistry, biology, or lab tech class combination
