US Foods Transportation Clerk - Nights in SSA Phoenix, Arizona

Perform clerical functions to support all aspects of Transportation office.


  • Answer Incoming calls and resolve driver, and customer issues as needed.

  • Prepare driver packets/keys nightly

  • Print invoices / manifest for drivers

  • Driver Payroll

  • Fuel and mileage reporting

  • Populating/creating/updating various spreadsheets/departmental reports.

  • Strong Excel skills required

  • Maintain appropriate records, files, and documentation.

  • Utilize various systems and software to prepare periodic reports (MS Excel, Red Prairie, Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos)

  • Process vacation requests after approved by Manager, coordinate transportation vacation coverage schedule

  • Track attendance data.

  • Process driver trip sheets.

  • Tracking and filing of Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR5).

  • General clerical duties as assigned

Hours of Work: Sun - Thurs between 5pm - 3am (varies)


Education: High School Diploma/GED required.

Related Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative/clerical function.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Individual must have the ability to prioritize assignments and effectively multi-task. Must have strong organizational/communication skills and be able to work under minimal supervision. Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Experience using Omnitracs, Tandem, Kronos, or similar systems preferred. Must possess strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills in addition to the ability to adapt to faced paced, changing environment.
