As a Pharmacy Technicia n, you’ll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Along the way, you’ll discover the training, support and career opportunities you’d expect from a Fortune 6 leader.

This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You’ll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It’s a fast paced, high volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life - saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)

  • Order fulfillment including, picking and shipping patient medication and supplies

  • Resolve customer related issues

  • Ordering and re-stocking drug and supply inventory

  • Contact patients for routine refill calls

  • Contact insurance / billing to resolve claim issues

  • Infusion pump management

  • Working Monday - Friday between 8:30am – 5:00pm for an 8-hour shift

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or higher

  • Current State of Arizona Pharmacy Technician License

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification

  • 2(+) years of experience working in a pharmacy setting

  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.

  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Microsoft office and Microsoft excel

  • Home health or specialty pharmacy experience

  • CPR+ operating system knowledge
