The Joint Chiropractic Manager of Chiropractic Training in Scottsdale, Arizona

The Manager of Chiropractic Training is a unique role offered to a Doctor of Chiropractic in a non-clinical setting, responsible for identifying training needs, creating, managing and conducting chiropractic training as well as monitoring completion of clinical training to both corporate and franchise clinics. Additionally, this role is accountable for measuring the success of the training delivered through attendance and completion, survey results, clinic performance and other key metrics. This individual can analyze clinic operations for improved training measures as well as collaborate with field partners to integrate identified best practices into training content. Finally, the ideal candidate for this role is an effective communicator and can structure training content so that it is easily followed and understood.

This role is integral for upholding The Joint Chiropractic?s clinical expectations and culture of patient focused care and will be based out of the corporate office located in Scottsdale, AZ. Though based out of the Scottsdale office, travel for this role is estimated at 25% and will directly report to the Executive Director of Chiropractic and Compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a library of chiropractic training courses and resources that is created through a partnership with the training department.

  • Collect and integrate clinical best practices from the franchise system into DC training materials.

  • Create and implement continuing education opportunities for DCs of The Joint.

  • Support Franchisee, Operator, Operations with new clinic openings.

  • Assist the operations team with Certified Clinic training and certification processes.

  • Lead and assist with training in live and virtual classroom settings, meetings, conferences, workshops, and be able to demonstrate on-the-job training,

  • Support all clinic areas that have identified training opportunities with training support either through live training or administrative support to complete current training content.

  • Deliver and coordinate DC field workshops, webinars, and other training meetings.

  • Produce and deliver monthly webinar meetings for new hires and clinic teams.

Professional Ambassador

  • All chiropractors with The Joint Chiropractic are responsible for positively representing the brand with schools, associations, boards and others within the profession.

  • Represent The Joint Chiropractic core values and represent the corporate office well at all times.

  • Organize The Joint Chiropractic preceptorship program and evaluate and measure both enrollee satisfaction and doctor participation.

  • Organize and participate in school and professional events.

Administrative Duties

  • Provide clinical training support to all cross-functional leaders in the office and field leaders including: RDs, FBCs and Franchisees.

  • Participate in re-occurring and ad-hoc corporate staff meetings as necessary.

Functional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of The Joint Chiropractic model including current training materials, manuals and clinic platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to drive positive results with chiropractors, clinic staff and/or clinic performance

  • Strong communicator with the ability to build positive and professional relationships

  • Ability to organize professional training that is clear, concise and relative to The Joint model

  • Ability to analyze reports to identify areas of opportunity relating to DC training and patient care

  • Strong advisory/partnering skills to work effectively with peers, subject matter experts, and other business partners

  • Ability to learn new software and web-based environments

  • Resourceful in finding information and fact checking

  • Ability to organize and conduct professional events

Desired Education & Experience:

  • Valid DC license or ability to gain a valid license in applicable state

  • Fully eligible for malpractice insurance in applicable state

  • 2+ years of clinical experience with The Joint Chiropractic

  • 1+ years of clinical leadership responsible for training and performance

  • 1+ years of participation with professional association or board

  • Basic understanding of or proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
