United Rentals Manager, Customer & Campaign Analytics in Scottsdale, Arizona

In this role, you will have the opportunity to fundamentally shape the future of customer analytics and revenue generating campaigns for a rapidly growing $9B company. Your responsibilities will include helping to architect the data/systems/processes necessary for lead generation and campaign measurement.
You will leverage your technical and analytical skills to build next generation models that drive tangible revenue capture and will work closely with our sales leaders across North America to continually improve the quality of lead generation as well as the effectiveness of sales execution.
Location - open to anywhere in the US.
Drive data analytics activities and models to uncover strategic insights and support sales growth
Leverage advanced analytical skills to identify correlations between diverse data streams that provide strategic direction to company initiatives
Utilize historical customer information and 3rd party data to identify revenue and business development opportunities
Leverage key software (such as Lattice Engines, Salesforce/Einstein, R) to build and deploy revenue generation efforts
Lead development of systems/processes required to measure and continually improve effectiveness of sales campaigns and customer targeting efforts
Establish methodologies and statistical measures for performance of sales efforts (campaign % lift, $ Revenue, A/B testing, etc.)
Build workflows to track leads and campaigns in an integrated manner throughout core systems (Salesforce, Teradata, Lattice)
Lead development of on demand dashboards and reports
Continuously gather feedback from key stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement of lead quality and execution
Develop and communicate reporting around sales campaigns/sales effectiveness
Prepare monthly/quarterly summaries of campaign results and present to organizational leaders
Take project management ownership of other specific initiatives as appropriate and drive results
Support implementation of key sales growth programs at all levels of the organization
Manage project development and cross functional team work as needed
Takes ownership of functional issues to come up with potential solutions
Develop launch/communication plans for key initiatives
Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously on tight deadlines
Will work directly with field sales leaders such as Regional Sales and Marketing Directors, as well as, Salesforce.com developers, 3rd party consultants, Sales Operations department and Performance Analytics team.
Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Statistics or Data Science preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of analytics experience required
Superior data analytic skills and deep knowledge of statistical techniques (correlation, cluster, multivariate, decision trees, neural networks, etc.)
Strong capabilities with SQL required
Strong capabilities with R required
Experience with Lattice Engines a plus
Salesforce.com experience required.
Proficiency within Excel
