Are you a critical thinker, looking to solve and improve equipment distribution? U-Haul has a unique opportunity for you! We are looking for a friendly, customer service-based person to get a foot in the door. This role will be great if you have an interest in data driven information and document review. As Allocation Specialist, you will manage the continuously fluctuating inventory levels of our U-Box related equipment. This analyst will create and maintain procedures to correct inventory imbalances. If you join this quickly growing team you can expect a challenging, fast paced environment, rewarding position with compensation and benefits to match.

Daily tasks include :

  • Interacting with field personnel via phone, email, and IM chat

  • Reaching out to existing U-Move customers

  • Answering all incoming calls

  • Update, review, and audit reports as needed

  • Managing a reservations dashboard

  • Data driven analysis

  • Document procedures


  • Must have impeccable customer service skills and excellent communication

  • Detail oriented and organized

  • Basic computer proficiency

  • Ability to self-manage and motivate

  • Working knowledge of Advanced Micro Traffic, Point of Sale and U-box program

  • Training provided

  • Great attitude and true professionalism

    Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need. After World War II, there existed the widespread need for do-it-yourself moving equipment that would be available on a one-way, nationwide basis. U-Haul co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and his wife, Anna Mary Carty Shoen, recognized that need and acted upon it. Their visionary approach spread the cost of ownership among many users, facilitating the mobility of the populations of the U.S. and Canada. The covered wagon of the pioneers morphed into orange U-Haul trailers. In the process, an industry was born.
