Humana Software Engineer 2; Learning Management Support in Phoenix, Arizona

Description

Humana is seeking a Software Engineer 2 Tech to be responsible for various support initiatives of the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS), Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD). The Software Engineer 2 codes software applications based on business requirements. The Software Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer 2 will have the responsibility for a shared support helpdesk to assist both learners and administrative users of the LMS. Troubleshoot system and content-related issues for learning teams and vendors with the LMS. Manage Access, Organizational Unit and User Groups data within the LMS. Understand and leverage the connections with other key human capital practices. Support the connectivity of the LMS to other enterprise systems and data integrations. Provide system utilization reports and other data needs for management. Assist the LMS Administrator with executing the enterprise LMS strategy, configurations surrounding new LMS enhancements and the rollout of additional functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Learning Management System Administration Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD)

  • A robust understanding of learning specifications such as SCORM, AICC and xAPI

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and available Functions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree

  • Cornerstone Core and Learning Administrator Certifications

  • Experience with Cornerstone Edge APIs
