Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM GBS Security Strategy & Growth (SS&G) is looking for a Security Enablement Leader to

drive joint synergy across various IBM entities such as GBS, Security Business Unit (SBU) communities to design, develop and conduct security enablement sessions.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  1. Work with these entities to maximize participation in marketing and communications activities to include security events

  2. Work with and collaborate with SBU enablement leaders to refine the enablement SOP and deliver key sessions aligned to client needs across the Geo regions

  3. Conduct pre-enablement planning sessions with SBU and Geo leaders to tailor each session to the region and client

  4. Incorporate new security service offerings that complement GBS solutions

  5. Lead workshop sessions to build sales plays for specific opportunities

  6. Conduct the sessions as well as post session surveys

  7. Incorporate feedback into the enablement sessions to improve the delivery and effectiveness

You should be passionate about technologies and trends such as Cybersecurity.

You should have experience in various industries in public or private sector to include healthcare, Industrial, Finance, Retail, Government and/or Energy and Utilities.

This person will report to the IBM GBS SS&G team. The Enablement leader will work with various IBM entities including GBS and IBM Security Business Unit and across functional teams such as the GEO Route to market leads, training and communications leads.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Proven experience in developing training and learning sessions in security or similar offerings

  • Demonstrated experience conducting training sessions for a variety of participants at all levels of an organization

  • Experience updating material to remain current with offerings and to tailor the material to each audience

  • Strong oral presentation and writing skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 3 years experience in a security sales organization
