Based in Phoenix, you will get to work with the most talented and diverse team of engineers and planners in the regional transportation market. You will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your transportation design expertise in roadway/highway to serve as a designer on transportation related projects. Working with other members of the team under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, you will perform civil design calculations, modeling, and technical comparisons; research design options while taking a broad perspective to identify different solutions; provide project cost estimating; and assist in solving complex problems. You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients as your level of experience progresses.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Taken and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
At least 4 years related experience in roadway design and geometrics
Familiarity with AASHTO and MUTCD standards
Previous Arizona Department of Transportation (DOT) experience
Strong MicroStation and InRoads background
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong mathematical, analytical, and time management skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Open Roads Designer experience
Arizona Professional Engineer License (PE), or ability to obtain within 1 year
County and/or Municipal experience
