Maricopa Integrated Health System RN Burn Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona
Under the direction of the Director Nursing, the RN Burn Specialist serves as a responsible and accountable clinical expert, role model, educator and resource. This position facilitates professional development of staff and quality care and collaborates with the unit leadership team to assure competent staff performance to promote quality patient outcomes.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing. Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible RN clinical practice or clinical educator/instructor experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license; temporary AZ RN license; or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice. Must also be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
Requires BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
Requires ACLS upon hire.
ABLS required within six (6) months of hire; ABLS Instructor required within 12 months of hire.
Prefer instructor certification in: ACLS, PALS and BLS.
Prefer professional nursing certification (i.e. CCRN).
