Compass Group is in search of a Regional Sales Director for our Chartwells K12 team based in AZ (covering AZ and CO). This professional top-performer will be an organized self-starter who is able to work independently, produce results and build strong relationships. The Regional Sales Director will report to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for ensuring profitable market growth of new Chartwells K12 school accounts as an individual contributor. This position will be based in the Phoenix area and will require extensive daytime travel and overnight travel of 50% expected.

• High degree of innovative and thoughtful prospecting to cultivate and develop new business opportunities• Develop multi-level, strong relationships in the K12 public schools market with prospective Superintendents, CFOs and School Boards primarily• Internal stakeholder management through strong relationships • Lead the sales process including extensive research, successful meeting preparation and execution, effective presentations, proposal development and delivery, closing and contract negotiations• Accountable for new business annual quota/Y.O.Y growth• Effective territory management, business planning and execution• Management of RFP process• Accurate forecasting/CRM management • Proforma development
• Bachelor’s degree• 5+ years successful “service” sales experience (K12 preferred)• Successful new business sales experience (vs. account management)• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Excellent presentation skills• Masterful relationship builder• High energy, positive can-do attitude, coachable with excellent interpersonal skills/high EQ• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities• Strong time and territory management skills• Strong financial acumen/proforma development • Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat and CRM, Hubspot, Webex, Microsoft Teams• Possess a high degree of personal accountability, discipline, and integrity• Ability to travel daily as needed for meetings, conferences, etc. is required with 50% overnight stays expected
