Your Role This position supports the QSHE Supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring that the Kuehne + Nagel Quality, Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (QSHE) Management systems and standards are implemented and maintained throughout the Engines and Sky Harbor campus. Your Responsibilities * Understand processes to extent that can suggest procedures, specification changes; knows when changes may havepossible effects on other areas.* Proficient understanding and knowledge of departmental procedures to serve as a guide during audits.* Ensure that Standard Operating Systems and Consistency initiatives are implemented and maintained.* Ensure that the required Training is provided in support of QSHE, Security and Operating Systems.* Handles Internal Audit / Assessment Activities as required* Performs internal / cross-functional audits, develops and trains others to become internal auditor / assessors* Identifies and drives the implementation of activities that standardize quality / business methods, measures and tools* Identifies and drives the implementation of activities that assure increasing quality skills / competencies are deployedwithin the organization* Identifies and drives preventive / predictive improvement activities for key processes in order to meet / exceedbusiness / quality performance goals* Actively participates in systems development and improvement within area of responsibility* Interact as needed with customers, both proactively and reactively, to demonstrate Quality commitment.* Supports activities to ensure communication between internal and external suppliers.* Participate in and drive corrective/preventive analysis and actions required in deploying root-cause solutions asneeded.* Overtime and Weekends as needed* Ability to support business needs of the applicable team, as they apply to attendance, overtime, punctuality, and shift. Your Skills and Experiences * Minimum of a high school diploma required, College degree in Business or Engineering Discipline preferred.* Quality Engineer and / or Lead Auditor certification a plus. (ASQ, CQE)* Understands basic concepts of Kaizan, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5 "S", or equivalents - certification a plus* Hands-on experience and demonstrated success in the application of advance product quality planning (APQP) toolsand techniques* Proven ability to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous tasks.* Experience with managing and conducting training is a plus.* Proficient computer skills including the use of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills so as to develop an open link with customer for frequentinteractions including status and query discussions, audits, and startup.* Demonstrated strong networking and interpersonal skills and professionalism to deal with all levels of personnel.* Demonstrated ability developing and using relationships to facilitate accomplishment of goals.* Must have good problem solving skills and be able to quickly identify, define and resolve problems.
