Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with managing all phlebotomy vendors.
May include onboarding, training, and retraining of vendors and individual phlebotomists, as well as vendor corrective action planning and execution.
Assist with managing Patient Service Center vendors and third party partners, as required to ensure PSC compliance and market position.
Assist with phlebotomy program management.
Monitor distribution and claiming of blood draws
Monitor customer feedback to drive highest level of customer satisfaction
Manage small escalations as needed for immediate resolution
Manage and resolve any scheduling issues
Ensure continued and open communication about draw status and resolutions to any issues necessary to complete draw status
May require tutoring or skills assessment of other PSC phlebotomists, to ensure continuity across skill sets of different phlebotomists
Required: General knowledge phlebotomy regulation and licensure knowledge for associated state.
This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have an access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.
Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
General understanding of mobile phlebotomy and general phlebotomy services, including billing, scheduling and patient management as required for a positive patient experience
Excellent communication and emotional IQ skills
Ability to work with cross functional teams
Ability to learn and embrace tools online tools for effective program management
Education and Experience:
BS/BA degree in biology or related field.
5+ years high level customer care experience.
