The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.
This exciting new Strategy Consultant role will be responsible for providing principal level strategic consulting services to client organizations utilizing comprehensive, in-depth knowledge and expertise regarding Wells Fargo business strategy (enterprise-wide) and emerging trends in the Industry.
Partnering with executive management across Wells Fargo to define the business strategy and create/execute corresponding business plans and initiatives. Has responsibility for the identification of strategic business, investment and alliance opportunities; evaluation and approval process of identified opportunities; identification and implementation of technology requirements (systems, architecture and infrastructure) as well as coordination of technical resources; and communication of strategy and related business plans to management. Directs internal as well as Industry strategic planning activities and represents Wells Fargo on Industry boards and committees. Provides guidance to less experienced team members.
Specific to merchant services and the exact role...
Assist the merchant services segment leader for commercial and corporate banking to effectively lead the business, operating as a "right hand" to do all of the non-sales activities to help us move the business forward. This person would do things like, analysis, presentations, help lead special projects, help with prioritization, liase with field effectiveness leader, help set and execute on vertical strategies and help lead the sponsorship business and global activities.
- 8+ years of strategic planning experience
Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to research, trend, and analyze data
Experience creating visually dynamic presentations
Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience in the payments industry
Experience developing executive presentations
