Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Governance – GSG Conduct Risk
As part of the Global Servicing Group (GSG), the Governance & Controls team is primarily focused on safeguarding the Company’s brand and assets. It is focused on driving adherence to internal policies and meeting regulatory expectations while balancing the execution of key business strategies and Customer First priorities. Governance & Controls collaborates across key stakeholders to drive the necessary controls and oversight, enabling GSG stakeholders to set the standard for a seamless and differentiated customer experience.
The Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Governance will be responsible for establishing controls to ensure data integrity, effective reporting, and data management across the GSG Sales Practice Monitoring and Business Integrity programs. The selected candidate will play a critical role in setting the strategic direction for the Reporting & Analytics team and assist in creating new automated and self-serve dashboards for the Conduct Risk program. The Manager will assist in identifying business risks, accelerate real-time access to data, and ensure proper governance and controls are maintained to ensure data quality.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Create, develop, and maintain dashboards and self-serve reporting capabilities for the Conduct Risk program, including Sales Practice Monitoring and Business Integrity
Partners with key stakeholders within global Operations teams, providing analytics to assess risks and provide insights into business performance
Strategic thought leader responsible for driving automated/rule driven controls to monitor data variances and assess risks and opportunities within relevant businesses
Partners with colleagues across Conduct Risk and MIS to ensure timely execution of key deliverables and impeccable quality across all reporting and dashboards
Reviews and provides recommendations for technology solutions for effective data management, including evaluations of case management systems and table optimization
Assists with ad hoc data requests and creates and prepares recommendations for senior leaders for business unit reviews, quarterly reporting, and other meetings
Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting on large datasets, Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Data Virtualization Tools, Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica, ETL Tools, Java, or other relevant tools
The ideal candidates should love data and must be able to tell a compelling story though thoughtful and insightful commentary
Ability to quickly learn and analyze new information, processes, table structures, and/or metrics
Creative, naturally curious, self-starter who is driven to find problems we didn’t know existed
Experience managing in a fast paced, complex, and dynamic global environment
Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions, colleagues at all levels, and with partners
Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt easily to frequent change
5 years relevant work experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related field preferred; advanced degree a plus
Flexibility to take early/late calls when needed due to the nature of a global role
