Charles Schwab Investment Consultant in Phoenix, Arizona
The Employee Branch Investment Consultant will provide unassigned (not currently working with a Financial Consultant) Schwab employees with comprehensive portfolio analysis and recommendations following the firm’s investment philosophy, policies, guidelines and savings fundamentals in meeting the needs of Employees and their household members on their accounts. The advice provided can include specific investment recommendations, changes to a client’s investment strategy, the use of investment solutions or it may result in guidance regarding their savings, budgeting or retirement plan and how to increase their probability of success leveraging planning tools and resources.
What you are good at
The Investment Consultant will also provide proactive consultations with new employees and their family to ensure a seamless welcome process and create a true sense of partnership, ownership, and appreciation as the new employee begins their relationship with Schwab. The consultant will engage new employees, over the course of multiple conversations, in needs-based dialogue to gain a thorough understanding of employee’s needs to ultimately cultivate the relationship to increase employee engagement and retention. The consultant will reach out to new employees primarily through outbound calling, but also communicates with new employees via inbound calls, emails, faxes and hard copy correspondence. Consultants will follow up on new employee lead opportunities and ensure a seamless transition to Schwab and also offer the opportunity to received financial advice.
What you have
Bachelor's degree is required, or relevant work experience.
Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license is required
Active and valid FINRA Series 66 license is required (may be obtained under a 60 day condition of employment)
Portfolio level advice experience preferred
Proven success in developing and managing client relationships
Strong industry and market knowledge
Knowledge of Schwab benefits preferred
Excellent consultative, interpersonal and communication skills
Basic computer skills
