Albertsons HRIS Analyst - Compensation in PHOENIX, Arizona

POSITION PURPOSE: The HRIS Analyst II acts as an advisor to both HRIS internal teams as well as business partners providing support in documenting, standardizing, optimizing and testing systems and processes related to business operations. This position meets with various teams to understand the scope, business requirements, pain points and desired outcomes associated with projects or new development. This role is required to have a broad set of problem solving techniques, open mindset and capable of strategic and tactical thinking. You will be expected to participate in daily coordination with teams to understand client concerns and to support the business objectives, working collaboratively. In addition, you will be responsible for prioritizing and structuring work for lower level consultants and completing tasks timely. You will also be expected to apply creative problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and improve operations. This position will be responsible for probing, clarifying, and documenting business needs to create optimal solutions for HRIS clients. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Strong expertise in gathering information needed for the project using interviewing and voice of customer techniques * Observes HRIS systems and processes; can dissect into a visual flowchart and compile detailed design or requirement documents * Provides knowledge and insight into recommendations for business solutions * Identifies gaps and uses critical thinking to analyze the most effective and efficient way to solution * Strong communicator; active listener who can draw out clear responses and probe for "missing" information Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To * Perform hands-on configuration setup in Oracle HCM Cloud * Provide support to Compensation Team regarding merit, variable compensation, and employee stock program (ESPP). * Review and monitor interfaces to assure they have run successfully and according to requirements. Work with IT or other HRIS team members to identify, review, research, and correct problems and implement fixes. * Coordinates transfer of data to external contacts for services and plan administration. * Active in the development, review, testing and implementation of system and process enhancements or projects including the preparation and review of associated documentation * Provide recommendations to resolve system and process errors; identify opportunities for more efficient or effective ways to perform operations * Use experience and knowledge to consider improvements to broader HRIS landscape * Develop and review user procedures, guidelines and documentation * Lead in the seamless transition of product delivery to business partners General Accountabilities * Ability to work unsupervised and self-directed * Ability to build relationships and gain trust * Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities * Effective communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented environment KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Education Level: * Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology; or * Equivalent work experience in related field Experience Level: * Five years of experience in chosen field; or * Three years in a large-scale HR environment Skills and Background: * At least 5 or more years' HR functional experience required (e.g., staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, employee data); preferably for a large multi-state company as an analyst. * Experience across one or multiple Oracle HCM Modules -- preferably in Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation or Learning Modules. * Strong experience across the Human Resource functions including: Data Set-up, Self-Service, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, Customer Relationship Management (ServiceNow), and Talent Management * Expert problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong listening skills * Solid communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts to both a highly technical audience and to business-oriented leaders * Commitment to the highest level of client satisfaction and responsiveness * Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Project or other project management software programs * Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Power Point * Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access * Advanced level skill in Microsoft Visio or other workflow diagram software programs Desired Qualifications * Highly self-motivated work ethic with flexibility to adapt rapidly to changing business needs * Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment with understanding of test concepts, methodologies and practices * Demonstrated experience working in business transformation with understanding of quality methodologies and standard project management practices * Demonstrated experience working in support services with solid customer relationship capabilities TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10% Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
