Position description

Mayo Clinic’s Department of Psychiatry and Psychology in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking an outstanding psychiatrist to lead our adult psychiatry hospitalist team.

This clinical position involves opportunities to practice hospital-based, consultant-liaison psychiatry. This individual will lead program development for the hospital service and work cross-functionally with multiple specialties at Mayo Clinic Arizona. This role will also focus on the teaching service for medical student and residents who rotate through our hospital. Research opportunities are available and encouraged. Call is shared equally among all psychiatry staff.

Please note that Mayo Clinic Arizona does not have an inpatient psychiatry unit.

License or certification

Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona.

Must be board-certified/board-eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry.

Fellowship in Consultant-Liaison, Addictions, or Neuropsychiatry is preferred.
