Our team in Phoenix supports one of the world’s largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products, with primary focus areas in stress analysis, manufacturing engineering, material review board (MRB), project management and support, quality management systems, and data analytics. Our employees develop deep familiarity with our customers, their products, and tools working from their sites, while QuEST managers champion a performance culture and ensure team engagement.
As an Electrical Technician you will be expected to do:
Hands on repairs of test equipment / isolate to failed component
Prioritize which backlog of tickets to work on
Attend Daily Tier meetings will be attended by the TSE group and any new tickets may also be worked
Work directly with the equipment on the floor and troubleshoot to failed component
Track Parts and Repairs to be used on down equipment
Track the replacement parts through various systems and follow up with installing into equipment
Run Diagnostic test on hardware to ensure proper equipment function
Pull prints as required to isolate the issue and identify part lists
Review engineering prints to research alternate parts list for test engineering review
Provide cost estimates for current and alternate parts as required

You will need to log and manage trackers in SAP to make sure all product has been classified.
You will need to review data with QEs, MEs, and stakeholders to enhance product quality.
You will need experience performing inspections in an aerospace environment with the ability to read blueprints in order to fulfil the inspection and ODE portions of this role.
You will need to set up triage meetings and flow out data daily.
You will need to understand nonconforming material management and disposition to be able to process any materials that have been rejected in the assembly process.
You will need Microsoft Outlook and Excel proficiency in order to communicate with other team members and maintain tracking metrics within the investigation process.
