Dispatcher/Call Center Representative

Do you have 3-5 recent years of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a dispatching or call center environment? If so, read on! Randstad is working with a local state agency to fill an open Dispatcher role within their facilities warehouse. The qualified candidate must come to the opportunity with the ability to multi-task in a face-paced environment with little supervision.

  • Pay: $16.00/hr

  • Location: Downtown Phoenix, 85007

  • Duration: Long-term, no set end date

Job Details: This State agency is seeking a professional and reliable Dispatcher to act as their company’s first point of contact via phone and email for emergency and non-emergency calls. Selected candidate will be working in a system to maintain call logs, scheduled technicians, and direct field units.

Responsibilities

  • Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document important information.

  • Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments or field units.

  • Respond to queries from our customers, technicians and vendors.

  • Use the CMMS to direct crews and other field units to the appropriate sites.

  • Prioritize and organize calls/emails according to urgency.

  • Supervise the route and status of field units to prioritize their daily schedule.

  • Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation.

  • Run reports

  • Inventory Processing

  • Special Projects or other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Telephone Etiquette

  • Basic Software Skills

  • Call Center Support (2 years of experience is required)

  • Dispatching

  • Data Entry (2 years of experience is required)

  • Multi-tasking

Education

  • High School (required)
