Direct, design, monitor institutional licensure success initiatives developed by Nursing Deans. Provides support to students throughout and after their program in preparation for taking the required licensure exam following graduation. Responsible for supervising the delivery and maintenance of a comprehensive Academic Action Plan for students at risk by utilizing the internal Unitek initiatives and developing strategies to improve testing performance for the pre-licensure Unitek programs. Provides leadership and oversight of licensure success managers/specialists and academic coaches. Helps ensure institution licensure/student success policies, procedures, goals, KPIs are implemented and enforced

  • Establishes and analyzes student data to identify strengths and weaknesses of students within assigned courses in the core program.

  • As an ATI Champion, utilizes and fully integrates ATI (Assessment Technologies Institute) resources to promote understanding of course content and increase overall nursing student persistence. Ensure ATI Champions initiatives are implemented across the institution.

  • In collaboration with Asst. Deans, Program Directors, Directors of Education, NCLEX Coordinator, Licensure/NCLEX Success Specialists, and Licensure/NCLEX Coaches, develops and maintains comprehensive Academic Action Plans for at risk students by developing strategies to improve testing performance for all pre-licensure programs.

  • Leads Key Performance Indicators for licensure programs, specifically: 100% of students testing within 90 days of graduation and 90% pass rate for first time test takers of licensure exams.

  • Ensure ATI Faculty Development & Training Workshops, Training and ongoing analysis, reviews, meetings with ATI and program leadership are successfully conducted. Maintain calendar.

  • Lead NCLEX/Licensure Success Committee meetings, sets annual meeting calendar, ensure bylaws, policies and procedures are followed up on and implemented.

  • Develop and manage standardized training for NCLEX/Licensure Success Managers/Specialists and Coaches, train/orient team members as required.

  • Monitor NCLEX / ATI policies & procedures within nursing programs, assist with standardization & rollout of ATI onboarding & continued training across all campuses.

  • Ensure campus NCLEX/Licensure analysis is conducted by all programs/campuses on a regular basis.

  • Analyze all licensure outcomes reports, conduct deep dive analysis with campuses, nursing leadership, ATI as necessary.

  • Nursing: Ensure ATI dashboard, analytic tools are customized, accessible, and all program leadership are trained.

  • Nursing: direct and manage new faculty ATI Onboarding process, conducts campus leadership training.

  • Nursing: Ensures ATI In Sight meetings and quarterly campus-leadership/ATI meetings are scheduled, attend as needed.

  • Ensure standardized process/procedures for licensure success are implemented rolled out to all new programs/campuses, train personnel.

  • Ensure high level ATI issues are resolved to support faculty and campuses.

  • Nursing: Ensure CMS, practice, proctored exams are monitored and taking place at appropriate schedules.

  • Collaborates and communicates positively with the academic leadership to coordinate and enforces policies and procedures.

  • Leads reviews of new products that are planned to be utilized by the faculty as supplement to their teaching in pre-licensure programs.

  • Collaborates with Nursing Assistant Deans in analysis of the NCSBN Mountain Measures report and developing plans for improvement.

  • Plans In-services and Professional Development related to test taking, test writing, test preparation, etc.

  • Collaborates with Assistant Deans and Program Directors on Licensure Tracking through students, instructors, and state board of nursing website.

  • Continually stay informed and on top of nursing and allied health education, accreditation, regulatory, industry news, trends, and knowledge.

  • Master’s degree in Nursing required, preferred specialization in Education.

  • Minimum 2+ years in Nursing Education in an accredited school of nursing.

  • Minimum 3+ years of Nursing Administration, Leadership in Healthcare and/or higher education.

  • Proficient in ATI (Assessment Technologies Institute) programs and testing.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in teams and in collaborative relationships with the ability to influence others in a positive and effective manner.

  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with competing demands.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications.

  • Adept in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook) and computer-based resources, able to build graphs and presentations to effectively and creatively convey complex information
