ALTO Cloud Support is looking for a Technical Writer to join a global technology services group responsible for managing and supporting a large and complex Cloud environments globally, to assist the various Cloud Teams in crafting and refining procedures and documentation related to the delivery of Epiqs Cloud services.? The ALTO Cloud Support team provides 1st and 2nd line support for both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications and internally developed applications hosted in Epiq Cloud sites, specifically AWS. ALTO works in conjunction with L3 Cloud and Application teams to provide 24/7 support of the various tools and Cloud infrastructure.? These team?s core responsibilities include application and infrastructure, upgrades, configurations, license renewals and technical troubleshooting. Supported platforms include content management, document processing, end-user tools and managed file transfer platforms.
The Technical Writer will prepare clear and coherent technical documentation that will communicate complex technical information more easily. They will develop, gather, and disseminate technical information related to all Epiq products throughout the organization.
The Technical Writer will fill an immediate need to document all applications at a technical level throughout Epiq.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
+ Researches and builds knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented
+ Determines the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension and writes and edits technical information accordingly
+ Prepares or commissions graphics, diagrams, animation, and charts to complement technical writing
+ Meets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed
+ Standardize content across platforms and media
+ Gather usability feedback from Application Support, IT, Product Development, Product Management, and Project Management teams
+ Manage documents as software is released to ensure accuracy
+ Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Communications or closely related discipline
+ General understanding of legal software
+ Experience with Microsoft Office
+ Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
+ General knowledge of software architecture
