Wolseley Industrial Group is seeking a highly motivated leader to join our growing Valve & Automation business in the Southwestern US Market . This is an excellent opportunity for experienced individuals with a strong technical and sales background in Valves & Automation.
Our new Valve & Automation Centers will be opening in our Denver Distribution Center in August 2021 and our Chandler Market Distribution Center in late Spring of 2022, and we have tremendous growth opportunities ahead for the business and this position. This is a sales role focused on the Mining, Power Generation, and Semiconductor industry markets in our Southwest territory, including Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso, TX. This role will require that the candidate be based out of Arizona, ideally in our Phoenix, AZ office, and travel within the district, as needed. After the pandemic is over monthly overnight travel will be required.
Drive valve and automation sales and margins for the territory through field-based sales efforts
Develop and execute the annual valve and automation strategy and budget
Drive local market and corporate valve and automation initiatives
Build key vendor relationships in regards to product line strategy and acquisition
Develop and maintain customer relationships at all organizational levels
Conduct customer field site visits to assist with product selection, problem-solving & quote preparations
3+ years Valve & Automation experience, preferably within sales or management, required
Strong sales presence and skillset
Attention to detail, organization, and work prioritization
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Ability to travel within the district, as needed. Monthly overnight travel when we reach post-COVID status.
