The Cardiovascular Technician performs diagnostic procedures that include , 24-48 hour, 12 lead and extended wear ambulatory electrocardiography, Tilt Table Testing, Injectable loop recorder (ILR) insertions (minimally invasive surgical procedure performed in the outpatient setting), event recorders, transtelephonic pacemaker follow-up and ILR arrhythmia monitoring. Real-time ambulatory ECG monitoring.
The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be highly organized, efficient with advanced critical thinking skills to work in this team oriented environment. Must have a keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Availability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Adapts to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting. Previous monitor technician experience preferred. Previous health-care experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Requires HS diploma or G.E.D. and
Minimum of 1year experience in a healthcare or residential care setting
CRAT certification or completion of other cardiovascular technician program, certified nursing assistant, or medical assistant program strongly preferred.
May be required to work at multiple sites.
Strong computer skills preferred.

License or certification
Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
Demonstrated ECG proficiency required annually.
Exemption status Non-exempt
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $18.76 per hour.

Hours / Pay period 48
Day Shift 7 am-7:30 pm, rotating days. Required flexibility in working at either one of the Phoenix or Scottsdale campus locations.
Weekend schedule Day shift, 7 am to 7:30 pm rotating weekends and holidays.
