National Dentex CAD-CAM Technician II in Phoenix, Arizona

Description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 60+ labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at Continental Dental Lab in Phoenix, AZ for a Full-Time CAD/CAM Technician II or III.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist

  • Read and review all paperwork on each case to verify correct information

  • Import/Export IOS (intra-oral scans) files

  • Scan stone models

  • Verify accuracy of scan to ensure materials have been entered correctly

  • Digitally design dental frameworks/restorations/implants

  • Nest and Mill all CAD/CAM products for 3D Printers and Mills

  • Maintain and operate the mills and 3D printers

  • Adjust settings accordingly to product types

  • Keep cases organized so that everyone on the milling/printing projects can work as a team

  • All other duties as required and assigned

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Must have basic computer skills

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Required for CAD/CAM I, II, III: High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • CAD/CAM I: No experience required

  • CAD/CAM II: Must have 12 months of service or specified skills required for CAD/CAM Department or be a Recognized Graduate (RG) by National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology.

  • CAD/CAM III: Must have 5 years of experience or specified skills required for CAD/CAM Department or be a Recognized Graduate (RG) by National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology. (Note: A DLT I may be assigned to the CAD/DAM Department.)

    Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

  • Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
