This person will assist in executing data-collection projects via telephone interviews in a call center of 300-350 work stations. They will be responsible for ensuring the proper training of the call center supervisor team. This role shares responsibility for the overall success of the Call Center including resources, utilization, exceeding quality standards and attaining margin goals. In absence of the Call Center Manager the Call Center Assistant Manager will oversee the call center operations. RESPONSIBILITIES


+ Assist in the preparation of shift plans as required by booked projects


+ Monitor production reports throughout the day to ensure productivity is meeting or exceeding standards and address any production concerns that arise.


+ Ensure that all supervisors are adequately trained in call center operations, policies, and procedures.


+ Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new call center agents


+ Provide employees with timely, fair and measured performance assessments and feedback to foster growth. Reward and recognize performance as appropriate. Appropriately and consistently address performance concerns using progressive discipline.Continuously walk the floor to ensure smooth running operations, addressing issues as they arise.


SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES


+ Ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends


+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, and Excel


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field OR equivalent work experience


+ 3+ years work experience


+ 2+ years experience in call center is preferred
