Mercury Systems 2nd Shift Mechanical Assembler in Phoenix, Arizona
In this role; you have the opportunity to
Performs a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiative in your daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills both oral and written
Within this role; you are responsible for:
Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions
Interpreting Job Routers, written instructions and drawings.
Performing a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards
Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts
Using hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Disassembling, modifying, reworking, re-assembling assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Electronics assembly and inspection experience preferred
Must be able to read and follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics units at the circuit card and product level.
Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs
High School Diploma or GED and 2 years related experience preferred
