Peer Support Specialist


+ Six weeks of behavioral health work experience


+ Does not have minimum of six weeks experience - will need six weeks continuous onsite direction, and the ability to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to perform duties after six weeks of continuous onsite direction.


Behavioral Health Paraprofessional (BHPP)


+ Must be at least 21 years old. Requires any combination of training, education, and experience listed below:


o At least six months of behavioral health work experience.




o Does not have minimum of six weeks experience – will need six weeks continuous onsite direction, and the ability to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to perform duties after six weeks of continuous onsite direction.


o Satisfactory work history as determined by the Human Resources.


+ Ability to obtain and maintain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and meet agency personnel requirements.


+ Successfully complete pre-employment drug screening.


+ Ability to meet Copa’s driver eligibility requirements.


+ Upon hire provide 39-month MVR, Copy of Arizona Driver’s license, proof of insurance and vehicle registration.


Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)


+ Minimum HS diploma/GED and four (4) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR


+ An associate degree and two (2) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR


+ A Bachelor’s degree (related or non-related) in the behavioral health field plus one (1) year of relevant experience in behavioral health.


+ Required to maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License and can pass a motor vehicle screen for insurance purposes in order to transport clients.


+ Experience in working with multi-cultural and low socio-economic individuals.


• Must have a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire.
