This Finance Manager position is a highly visible role that contributes to Verra Mobility success by supporting the Commercial Services business segment in functional strategic planning, modeling, pricing, analysis and reporting. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance, Commercial Services.

  • Build and/or maintain financial models, accurate financial reports, and provide thorough analytics of the organization.

  • Lead key stakeholders through annual planning and quarterly forecasting cycles.

  • Communicate complex financial information and concepts to both financial and non-financial business leaders to support and influence decision making.

  • Develop innovative approaches and solutions to improve processes and create efficiencies.

  • Ensure accurate reporting of costs across business units and functional owners.

  • Provide financial support to key stakeholders in reviewing of monthly financial results, understanding account variances to budget/forecast/prior year and creating/reviewing monthly financial reporting packages.

  • Develop content and support the reporting process to management and senior/executive leadership teams.

  • Ad hoc analyses as required.

  • BS or BA degree in finance or accounting required.

  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience required.

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

  • Previous advanced experience with large ERP system; GreatPlains preferred.

  • Ability to think strategically, prepare and present complex data in a simple, understandable manner.

  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal and listening skills.

  • Resourceful, strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to relate to all levels within the organization and comfortably partner with leaders and executives.

  • Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong data analysis skills with established ability to take data and create actionable insight.


  • Cloud-based SAAS financial application (Host Analytics, Adaptive, Vena, or Hyperion Essbase) experience a plus.

  • Power BI experience a plus.
