Kforce Desktop Support Technician in Maricopa, Arizona

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Maricopa, Arizona (AZ). Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary contact for technical assistance for end users requiring support of IT applications, services and equipment.

  • Troubleshoots and supports break/fix issues including analysis and repair of connectivity, software and hardware, access requests, equipment configuration, quality control, software installation and upgrading.

  • 3 years of related work experience working as IT Technician

  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities

Knowledge of:

  • New technology and uses for end user

  • Computer hardware and work-related software applications

  • Network and standalone multi-functional printer devices

  • Various copiers, printers and fax machines

  • Active Directory Console

  • Microsoft Office 2010 and higher

  • Operating systems

  • Door access and badging systems.

Skill in:

  • Performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature

  • Verbal and written communication

  • Customer service and support

  • Prioritization and time management

  • Active Listening

  • Troubleshooting

Ability to:

  • Install and configure authorized software

  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple project

  • Remain current and understand and use new technology

  • Use and implementation of specialized video software

  • Provide one-on-one specialized training to end-user

  • Download and install printer drivers for multiple printer products

  • Troubleshoot copiers, printers, and fax machine by using remote access and verbal communication

  • Meet schedules and deadlines of the work Follow oral and written instructions
