Work You ll Do
The Solution Specialist will beresponsible for providing intermediate oradvanced level technical advice for application and technology productssupported by the Solutions Network. Theposition will be focused on supporting client projects as well as sales teamsin the configuration, customization, and implementation of selected packagesand applications for sales demonstration as well as client-based projectimplementations using the Informatica technical stack. In addition to hands-on technical work, thisposition will also require providing assistance to project teams witharchitecture design, developing documentation and creating client deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have broadimplementation and configuration experience with various BusinessIntelligence/Data-warehousing technologies, preferably in a managementconsulting environment.
The Solutions Network (SNET) Practice
Deloitte s Solutions Network (SNET) is a global network thatconnects Deloitte s solution centers, extended delivery centers, clients, andvendor partners. The primary focus ofthe SNET is to support client development projects, client pursuits, solutiondevelopment, and practice development. The SNET does this by providing project teams with a hostedinfrastructure that includes a large mix of hardware vendors, operatingsystems, and technical application expertise. The SNET also provides on-site technical architecture and applicationexperts for Deloitte s clients.
The Solution Network consists of experts with knowledge of allmajor packaged applications and technologies PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, Siebel, middleware, BI/DW, JAVA, .Net, networking, SAN, servervirtualization, etc. SNET staff is alsoexposed to new and emerging technology, and in many cases serve as an R&Dfunction for Deloitte.
