Our Wholesale Technology Team is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer for our Commercial Banking team. This role will focus primarily on providing production support for the Inventory Finance applications. This individual will actively participate in Production Support for Commercial Banking Technology's CDF applications which provides support for highly complex technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, Mainframe systems, databases and/or other technical products and services.

This Systems Operations Engineer will use a comprehensive knowledge of multiple technical disciplines including Oracle, MS SQL, IBM CastIron, Autosys & CA 7 batch. is responsible for leading support functions and driving the execution and maturity of multiple application support services including incident triage, root cause analysis, change evaluation-execution-validation, deployment management, and risk & vulnerability management. Works closely with development and infrastructure partners like middle ware, NAS, database, F5/network, encryption (Vormetric) etc.

In addition, our candidate will also be responsible for:

Articulating end-user and technical issues from both business and application perspectives

Managing issues independently to resolution and delivering results in less defined and consistently changing environments

Defining, documenting and implementing processes and procedures for supporting client / server architecture and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) framework

Ensuring regulatory and risk requirements are compliant by ensuring software vulnerabilities are re-mediated and SSL certificates management

Supporting internal customers with the development of project plans, including the identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, time line and scheduling, as well as resource requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience

  • 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education

  • 3+ years of SQL experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management

  • Strong team or technical leadership experience

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications

2+ year of IBM CastIron Support experience

2+ years of monitoring tool and splunk experience

2+ years of NDM data transmission experience

1+ Year of ITIL experience

1+ year of CA 7 batch support experience

Understanding of Mainframe batch processing to include base knowledge of languages as JCL, Cobol and CA7 commands

Experience mentor less experienced team members

Experience performing and leading Disaster Recovery Tests.\

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $79,500 Mid: $112,000

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $79,500 Mid: $112,000

AZ-Chandler: Min: $79,500 Mid: $112,000
