Position Overview

The Success Coach is responsible for acting as a resource to internal teams to provide support, coaching and feedback with the goal of helping each team member assigned to them be successful in their role. The Success Coach will complete audits of the job functions performed by the team members assigned to them and will provide feedback to supervisors, leads and all members of the team in addition to other teams that may be affected by their findings. The Success Coach will provide coaching either in a one on one or small group setting, depending on the needs of the team.

Essential Job Functions

Perform audits of the work done by their assigned team members through patient accounts, phone call monitoring, and/or any other forms of evaluation relevant to procedure adherence.

Attend and participate in all team meetings and engage in processes changes, training development, etc.

Assess need for training/coaching and implement as necessary

Meet with assigned team members regularly to offer support

Build and maintain relationships that are conducive to consistent improvement

Be a subject matter expert (SME) on the processes for the team they support

Assist in the creation and/or delivery of training content when appropriate

Maintain a basic understanding of all departments and how the processes in each affect one another and educate assigned team members on these connections when appropriate

Meet regularly with team leaders to discuss findings, progress and areas for improvement

Assist with special projects pertaining to quality, training, and employee success as needed

Offer coaching support to the team members assigned to them in whatever areas are needed most including but not limited to process adherence, productivity best practices, and customer service.

Consistently search for new ways to help the team, and each team member assigned to them, succeed in their role

Be accountable for taking a role in maintaining the skills and qualifications necessary to provide or support quality care, including attendance at company-wide educational programs.

Be responsible for submitting accurate time and attendance records and following proper procedures for reporting and making corrections to attendance records.

Be responsible for harmonious interactions with coworkers and customers, including patients, family members, vendors and the general public.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Minimum Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the organization, minimum 6 months in current role

Special Skills: Broad knowledge of all aspects of the Medical Solutions Division processes, process specifics for the team they support, and skilled in the use of Brightree; ability to plan work, leadership skills, and ability to communicate at all levels. Encourages a positive coaching atmosphere, communicates value of accuracy and efficiency. Ability and savvy to influence, motivate and educate staff level employees. Ability to demonstrate experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills, detail and results oriented. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to adapt to change. Demonstrated ability to interact in a collaborative manner with other departments and teams.
