This is an opportunity for a Sr Systems Engineer-Data Analysis for the OmegA Program within the Launch Vehicle Division at the Chandler, AZ facility.
Data Handling Lead will support OmegA launch vehicle data analysis efforts for the Systems Engineering group, including one or more of the following activities: develop process for data management, analysis, and review; perform review and analysis of rocket telemetry and simulation test data; identify and analyze anomalous data to determine root cause; support long-term analysis of collected rocket telemetry data to determine performance trends and other effects; support customer field site ground- and flight-testing operations, including test execution support and on-site data review.
Skills and Qualifications
MATLAB and Simulink experience desired
Coding experience a plus (MATLAB, VisualBasic, SQL, Python, etc)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team, including mentoring junior employees
Ability to solve problems
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
US Citizenship is required
Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus
Ability to travel: Travel expectation <20%
Minimum Education / Experience: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems engineering background
