First Credit Union Marketing Specialist in Chandler, Arizona

Marketing SpecialistSummary/ObjectiveSupports the day-to-day activities, programs, procedures and administrative needs of Marketing operations. Creates, coordinates and reports on variety of marketing communications programs and campaigns. Professionalism, discretion, confidentiality and a positive attitude are absolute essentials of the position.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.Create and coordinate all aspects of printed and digital loan and/or product usage offer mailings including determining target market, creating targeted list, producing offer and/or campaign, executing offer mailing and/or campaign, and tracking, analyzing and reporting offer and/or campaign results.Create, coordinate, track, analyze and report on digital communications including email marketing messages, social media postsand content, and other digital communications.Create, coordinate, track, analyze and report on in-visit website personalization campaigns.Create, coordinate, track, analyze and report on third-party provider offerings including insurance, student loan options, and more.Coordinate community events such as walks and parades including participants and/or volunteers, giveaways and/or supplies, and advertising and/or promotion.Coordinate annual events such as youth month, annual meeting,and international credit union day including participantsand/or volunteers, giveaways and/or supplies and advertising and/or promotion.Assist with charitable giving and community involvement requests and opportunities.Assist with supply order requests and promotional materials distribution to branch locations, select employer groups and special events.Assist with promotional giveaway items including selection, acquisition, distribution and inventory.Serve on various committees as needed.Participate in Marketing staff meetings and attends other meetings, seminars or training.Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).Completes special projects as assigned.CompetenciesSuperb customer service orientation.Accuracy and attention to detail.Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop with intermediate design skills.Working knowledge of social media. Stress management/composure.Good listening and communication skills.Honesty and integrity.Teamwork.Ability to professionally compose own correspondence.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsWork EnvironmentThis job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical presence in the office setting is required.Physical DemandsThis position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkAbility to work 40 hours; Monday – Friday.TravelPeriodic travel to other FCU locations may be required.Required Education and ExperienceAssociates degree in marketing, business, graphic design or related field.Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Education and ExperiencePrevious marketing experience with a credit union highly desirable.Additional Eligibility QualificationsMulti-lingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing
