The Human Resources Manager position pays competitively, depending on experience. Your Day in the Life as a Human Resources Manager

Your day-to-day includes working with managers, employees, and candidates in a wide range of Human Resources activities to present and open-door atmosphere. Portions of the position will include training managers, developing interview techniques, and creating an inclusive workplace.

Throughout the day, you will actively recruit and source candidates for up to ten positions at once utilizing JazzHR. Excellent communication skills are required to be used in phone screens and in-person interviews with potential recruits as well as working directly with sourcing agencies and executive management. AeroSpec believes in continuous learning, a portion of your time can be devoted to certifications, researching and proposing new processes and procedures for the company.

In addition, you will be responsible for weekly payroll for 80 salaried and hourly employees utilizing Paycom (HRIS) system, while working with the Management Systems team to ensure processing and compliance.

Utilizing Paycom, you will also be responsible for benefits administration including ACA and COBRA.

A portion of this role will include employee relations, coaching, and performance management. Additionally, this position is responsible for Worker’s Compensation, Leave of Absences, and other duties that fall under the Human Resources umbrella.

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources activities with a focus on recruiting

  • Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS, and time-keeping systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Bachelor’s Degree; one year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of preferred education

  • Paycom experience a plus

  • Manufacturing experience a plus
