Intel Data Analytics Graduate Intern in Chandler, Arizona
Technology Development (TD) Analytics and Technology Automation, a new and growing part of the technology development body of Intel Corporation, is looking for an individual who wants to join us as a Development Data Scientist intern.
In this internship, the successful candidate will be expected to:
Use predictive modeling, statistics, machine learning, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from the structure and unstructured data.
Develop software, algorithms and applications to apply mathematics to data, perform large scale experimentation and build data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy.
Assist the business with causal inference and with finding patterns and relationships in data.

This internship will take place in 2021. Candidate must be an active student during the internship length. The compensation of this intership will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications :
Pursuing a master’s or PhD degree in Statistics or Data Science or Operation Research or equivalent disciplines and 6+ months' experience.
Coursework or job experience in advanced statistical methodology, probability theory, linear models.
Coursework or job experience in relational database structures, research methods, machine learning, Cloud based technologies, or Big Data technologies i.e. Hadoop, HBase, Lucene/Solr, analytics packages i.e. R, Mahout, Matlab, Octave, Weka, scripting languages i.e. Python, Perl, JMP/JSL, programming languages i.e. Java, C/C++, SQL, SAS, L, or R.
Experience teaching or as a teaching assistant at university level.
Experience with unsupervised learning techniques
