  • Processes paper claims and electronic work queues, including complex CMS 1500 and UB-04, in accordance with company policies and procedures using strong analytical, problem solving, and excellent math skills in a production based environment.

  • Demonstrates effective keyboard, data entry, and 10-key skills; ability to navigate within a computer/systems environment without assistance; experience in a windows-based computer environment with multiple applications.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Displays a positive, confident attitude.

  • Able to absorb and apply new and changing information.

  • Responds positively to goal-setting and performance measurement

  • Easily adapt and effectively respond to shifts in priorities and unexpected events.

  • Able to maintain regular and consistent attendance in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Experience in a production environment.

  • 1-2 years Claim processing experience.

  • Pricing of medical or dental claims, working with UB04, CMS 1500, EORs, EOBs, Implant and drug invoices.

  • Knowledge of Medicare, DRG, ASPG and use of applications using MCPS, CPD, or PCM are highly desired.

  • Microsoft Office experience preferred.
