What you’ll get to do as a HR Generalist:

  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigation, ensuring proper documentation, and partnering with managers to achieve a favorable resolution. HR Generalist will establish relationships with managers to address proactively and early, prior to further escalation.

  • Support talent development programs; including early career, front-line leaders, key positions, intern, and intern placement.

  • Ensure employment law compliance by maintaining a current working knowledge of employment law in Arizona and surrounding states

  • Manage and coordinate the onboarding process including pre-hire paperwork, orientation, new hire training, and assimilation, accelerating time to productivity.

  • Administer the employee engagement survey; partner with leadership to distribute results and lead action planning; support a winning culture through engagement initiatives

  • Manage the employee life cycle, including leave events, benefits enrollment, job assignment modifications, terminations, etc. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with relevant laws.

  • Administer employee recognition programs

    Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in human resources or related experience

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • You possess a PHR or SPHR certification (preferred)

  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • You enjoy being part of a contributing team and work towards the success of the organization

  • You have the desire to visualize, fulfill and implement the vision and core values.

  • You have strong interpersonal skills

  • You demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to effectively prioritize ad manage competing demands

  • You have the ability to establish strong work relationships with all members of the team, internal and external.

  • You have the ability and willingness to travel to surrounding states (mostly Utah)

  • You have an insurable driving record
